Qatalum is the largest Greenfield Aluminium project ever to be executed. The project is a 50/50 Joint Venture between Qatar Petroleum (QP) and Hydro. When the plant comes in operation in late 2009 it will be one of the largest and most competitive primary aluminium plants in the world, with a production capacity of 585,000 MT per year. The smelter, casthouse, carbon and power plant will employ between 1100 - 1200 people. The plant is located at Mesaieed in Qatar, some 40 kilometers from the capital Doha. We are currently looking for highly qualified staff to join us in building this world-class organization.

Our Smelter is looking for:

• Experienced Aluminium Operators
• Experienced Maintenance Technicians (Electrical and Mechanical)

Our Power Plant is looking for:

• Shift Charge Engineer
• Senior Operation Engineer
• High Voltage Operators
