LIVELIHOOD ADVISER (OXFAM GB)

With this many people with no reliable livelihood, it's essential we work as effectively as possible. That's why you'll be a dedicated expert on all livelihood development. Making sure we grow our understanding, you'll research and plan project, support staff to make real changes, and follow them up with detailed evaluation.

To make the sort of breaktroughs Indonesia so desperately needs, you'll be committed to gender equality and understand the latest thinking in livelihoods development work, including the effect of climate change. Degree qualified in a subject that benefits livelihoods in developing countries and competents in English and Indonesia, you'll have no problem impacting on poverty on a truly impressive scale.

AREA PROGRAMME MANAGER (OXFAM GB)
KUPANG, INDONESIA

Charged managing Oxfam's development work, you'll know what direct programme and advocacy action can achieve. From gender equality issues and emergency preparedness right through to managing staff and projects, budgeting and impact assessment, you'll create an effective high-quality, multi-sectoral strategic approach that really works.

As you'd imagine, it's essential you be an expert in programme work, with development knowledge to strengthen our efforts. You'll also need a degree in a relevant dicipline, like economic, politics or sociology or equivalent experience and combine a sound understanding of community development issues with the very best leadership skills.
