Badan Restorasi Gambut Republik Indonesia - BRG is the Peat Restoration Agency of the Republic of Indonesia. BRG is a non-structural institution under and responsible to the President. BRG was established on 6 January 2016 through Presidential Regulation No 1 of 2016 on Peat Restoration Agency of the Republic of Indonesia. According to information found in BRG's website as cited by JobsCDC.com, BRG works specifically, systematically, directed, integrated and comprehensive to accelerate recovery and restoration of hydro logical function of damaged peat mainly due to fire and drying. BRG is in charge of coordinating and facilitating peat restoration in 7 provinces: South Sumatra, Riau, Jambi, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, West Kalimantan and Papua.   BRG is based in Jakarta and its principal office is registered at Gedung Sekretariat Negara Lantai 2 - Jl Teuku Umar 10, Jakarta Pusat.

Due to strengthen its team, Badan Restorasi Gambut Republik Indonesia are currently seeking for highly qualified candidates to fill the following position

Requirements
  • Indonesian Citizen (WNI).
  • Bachelor Degree (S1), preferably majoring in Hydraulics, Planology, Agriculture, Forestry, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Soil Science.
  • Previous experience in hydraulics, hydrology and water systems, peat, peat / paludiciculture, forest and land fires, mapping, community participation, policy and other experiences related to the implementation of supervision become a plus.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.75 (scale 4.00).
  • Maximum age of 35 years old.
  • Willing to be placed in Jakarta or in 6 priority provinces of peat restoration; Jambi, Riau South Sumatera, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan and South Kalimantan.
  • Expertise with Database, ArcGIS (Geographic Information System) and mapping.
  • Have a good health and well behaved.
  • Able to work in a team.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Able to work in the field with flexible time, have integrity and willing to sign integrity pact.
