Ombudsman Republik Indonesia - Ombudsman or commonly abbreviated as ORI is the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia. Ombudsman Republik Indonesia is a non ministrial agency in Indonesia government that supervises public service institutions in Indonesia. Ombudsman Republik Indonesia was first established in 2000 as Komisi Ombudsman Nasional (the National Ombudsman Commission of Indonesia). In 2008, Komisi Ombudsman Nasional was transformed into Ombudsman Republik Indonesia based on Law No 37 of 2008 on the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia. The Law No 37 of 2008 was passed in the House of Representatives (DPR) plenary session on 9 September 2008. The Agency has 9 members, including 1 chairman and 1 vice-chairman. The members of ORI are appointed by the House of Representatives (DPR) based on the candidates which nominated by the President of Republic Indonesia. ORI headquartered in Jakarta and currently has 23 representative offices across Indonesia.

Requirements
  • Indonesian Citizen (WNI).
  • Devoted to God Almighty.
  • Have excellent health (physical and spiritual).
  • Bachelor degree in Law or other areas that have the expertise and experience of at least 7 years in the field of law or rule relating to public service.
  • Minimum age of 40 years old and maximum 60 years as of 1 December 2014.
  • Competent, honest, moral integrity, have the capability and have a good reputation.
  • In depth knowledge of Ombudsman and public services.
  • Not been sentenced by a court decision that has acquired the force of law for committing a criminal offense punishable by imprisonment of 5 years or more.
  • Willing to not concurrently be a State Officials or State Administrators in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations, management or employees of BUMN/BUMD, political parties boards and / or members and other professions (such as doctors, accountants, notaries, land PPAT).
  • Active and have a wide networking with government, community organizations, NGOs, the media and universities in each area office of the ombudsman.

Asisten Ombudsman

Requirements
  • Indonesian Citizen (WNI).
  • Honesty, integrity and never misconduct.
  • Minimum age of 22 years old and maximum 30 years old.
  • Minimum education of a Bachelor Degree (S1) with minimum GPA of 2.80, preferably Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Social and Political Science, Bachelor of State Administration, and Bachelor of Statistics.
  • Familiar with Computer (Microsoft Office).
  • Not been sentenced by a court decision that has acquired the force of law for committing a criminal offense punishable by imprisonment of 5 years or more.
  • Willing to not concurrently be a Civil Servants (CPNS), political parties boards and / or members, advocate/lawyer and other professions (such as doctors, accountants, notaries, land PPAT).
