Badan Narkotika Nasional Republik Indonesia - BNN or the National Narcotics Agency of Republic of Indonesia is the state agency in Indonesia engaged in the field of prevention, eradication abuse and illicit traffic in psychotropic substances, precursors, and other addictive ingredients except for the addictive ingredient of tobacco and alcohol. BNN was formed by the Government of Indonesia by Presidential Decree Number 17 of 2002. BNN is based in Jakarta and its principal office is registered at Jl MT Haryono No. 11 Cawang, Jakarta Timur. BNN was lead by a chief who is directly responsible to the President through the coordination of the Chief of Indonesian National Police. Since December 2012, BNN was lead by Komjen Pol Drs Anang Iskandar as the Chief of BNN.
