Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Republik Indonesia - BAWASLU or the Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) is  a non ministrial state-agency in Indonesia with overseeing the administration of elections in the entire territory of the Republic of Indonesia. The Institution was established by Act No 22 of 2007 Section 70 of the General Election. The Institution is based in Jakarta and headquartered in Jl. MH Thamrin No 14 Jakarta Pusat. BAWASLU has 5 members (including 1 cheif). The Current chief of BAWASLU is Dr Muhammad, S.IP MSi. In performing its duties, BAWASLU supported by the General Secretariat headed by a Secretary General. The position of the Secretary-General is supported by 4 bureau, namely Bureau of Administration, Bureau of Technical Supervision of Elections, Bureau of Legal, Public Relations and Internal Control, and Administration Bureau Honor Council Election (DKPP).
