Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) or National Disaster Management Agency is a non-ministerial government institution that has the task to assist the President of the Republic of Indonesia in: coordinating the planning and implementation of disaster management and emergency response activities in an integrated manner; and implement disaster management and emergency response from before, during, and after disaster that includes prevention, preparedness, emergency response, and recovery. BNPB was established by Presidential Decree No. 8 of 2008. Now, Dr. Syamsul Ma’arif, S.IP, M.Si. as head of BNPB

At the end of 2008, Australia and Indonesia agreed to establish Australia Indonesia Disaster Reduction Facility (AIFDR) a regional disaster management partnership which involves the cooperation of Australia and Indonesia to develop countermeasures, disaster preparedness and response is more effective in Indonesia with the Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB ) as the main partners.

HK Logistics Pty Ltd was appointed by AIFDR to do the recruitment of technical assistance that will be placed in BNPB as part of BNPB Capacity Development Support Program, funded by the AIFDR. In order to facilitate capacity development plan BNPB, a position below the position has been opened. Some positions will be placed in the BNPB.
