Mechanical Field Service Engineer

Mechanical Field Service Engineer
(MFSE)

Responsibilities:
As Field Service Engineer, the candidate will be an expert in rotating, focused on site activities management such as planning, manpower resources/tools assignment and technical assistance to complete the work scope according to the contractual requirements. Acting as single point of contact for customers and ensure all in field activities are carried out safely in compliance with the company's EHS guidlines and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Engineering Degree of equivalent business experience
  • Minimum 5 years of related working experience in Oil and Gas industry within maintenance or installation field activities
  • Strong knowledge on rotating equipment installation/maintenance; operating mechanisms of Gas Turbines OR Centrifugal Compressors, OR Reciprocating Compressor, OR Steam Turbines and their auxiliaries (lube oil system, fuel gas system, seal gas system, steam system, etc..)
  • Excellent English fluency both spoken and written
  • Availability to travel worldwide up to 70%-80% of the time on and off-shore
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills together with good interpersonal & organization skills
Control/Instrument Field Service Engineer (IFSE)

Responsibilities:
The Field Service Engineer will be in charge of site activities management including planning, assigning manpower resources and tools, providing technical assistance to complete the work scope according to the contractual requirements. Supervising installation, calibration and set up of instuments, cable laying and connection, ensure all in field activities are carried out safely in compliance with the company's EHS guidline and procedures

Qualification:
  • Electronic/Mechanic Engineer Degree or Technical High School
  • 3-5 years related work experience in Oil & Gas industry field activity
  • Stong knowledge in rotating equipment control's system (gas turbine, steam turbine, cetrifugal, compressor, reciprocate compressor) and their auxilliaries
  • Strong knowlegde in unit control panel (UCP), motor control center (MCC), direct current panel (DCP) and firefighting system installation and commissioning
  • Ability to understand and implement technical drawings (wiring diagram, P&ID, General Arrangement, etc..)
  • Good English Languange
  • Availability to frequent travels worldwide up to 70%-80% of the time (on and off-shore)
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skills as well as computer skills
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Desired:
  • Good knowledge of either MKIV, MKV or MKIV Control Panel
  • Good Knowledge of Alen Bradley PLC5 & Panel view, Siemens STEP5 & Contrologix, GE Fanuc 9030 & simplicity
  • Anti-surge system knowledge
