JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for handling the strategic procurement of Services & Indirect material or direct materials (Raw & Packaging) and managing the spend.
- The coverage entails all third party.
- Coordination and communication between market stakeholders and procurement org. above the market spend.
- Good understanding of spend, its nature, business needs, customer expectation and deliverables to ensure best quality at most competitive TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) Prices.
- To be able to understand the market dynamics, key influencing factors to map back to business in terms of informed and pro active decision making process.
- To constantly seek “Best Practices in supplier development, sourcing, responsible sourcing, pricing strategy and other opportunities in order to achieve overall cost improvement for Nestle Indonesia.
- Ensuring procurement compliance to Supplier Code, Responsible sourcing, Quality, Safety, Health & Environment standards.
- Proactively search for optimal supply sources and select suppliers according to purchasing principles, best purchasing practices and the department procedures (and in agreement with technical/factory)
- Negotiate and purchase goods at the best conditions with the aim of reducing total cost
- Prepare to the long and short term purchasing strategy for the goods required to be purchased
- Managing contract or purchase order documentation and communicate it to the concerned people
- To prepare purchasing monthly report for his or her purchase category
- Maintain market knowledge of his or her purchase category
- S1 Engineering, Business Administration and or related fields
- English proficient
- Having techno-commercial of technical purchase
- 4-5 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing, preferably in manufacturing industry/FMCG
- Having high interpersonal skill and service orientation
