Data & Distribution Manager
Responsibilities:
Main Task and Responsibilities
INTERNAL
- Fully responsible in managing sales data of Primary and Secondary Sales by branch level, stock level in distributor's warehouse by branch nationwide
- Provide the reliable sales data and brief analysis on a regular basis to sales and marketing team.
- Ensure on time delivery from Merck logistic to Distributors.
- Regular contact with the Factory / Production planning to ensure availability of stock from the factory.
- Doing market intelligence, update Merck CH team with the information and insight from the distributors and market, including and not limited to the distributor's plan, competing products activities in distributors and trade issues from the distributor's Field Forces.
- Manage and drive the distributors in terms of implementation of Sales and Marketing Strategy and activity in distribution channel.
- Setting targets, achievement monitoring and maintain in daily contact with all Distributors, report market / distributor insights back to business divisions
- To review and analysis Distributors performance including sales force effectiveness. Give analysis and suggestion to both parties Merck CH and Distributors concerning distribution development.
- Conduct regular business review with top management of Distributors.
- Develop Merck's business on Distributor's portfolio
Qualification
- Male/Female
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Economic (Marketing) or Engineering
- Having 3-5 working experience in related fields (Sales Manager/Data or Business Analysts/Customer Relationship) in Pharmaceutical or FMCG Industry
- Experience in Distributor Management
- Willing to travel and stay overnight
- Good planning & organizing
- Leadership Skill
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
- Good command in English (oral and written)
- Communication knowledge
- Good negotiation & presentation skill
- Interpersonal relationship knowledge
- Relationship management: Customer & Supplier focus
- Territory management
- Sense of business intelligent
- Business Analyst
