CORE NETWORK ENGINEER
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Daily Operation of MSC/HLR/MGW/PDSN/MPLS
- Organize for effective working of core network operations and maintenance
- Directs troubleshooting and repair of network deficiencies. Resolves outages and ensures customer trouble tickets are addressed in a timely manner
- Investigates customer trouble reports
- Complaints resolutions within accepted duration
- Communicates with other departments to resolve customer problems
- Uses test equipment to analyze problems
- Implement, test and accept new and upgraded software and hardware
- Produce and analyze reports related to the performance of the core network
- Maintains and improves current standards of knowledge in related job disciplines
- Implement routine preventive maintenance
- Assists in developing procedures to modify or increase network elements such as cell sites, BSC and Switch
- Engineering support to other teams, primarily BSS, Transmission, Marketing, NOC, IT and Customer Care
- Assist in coordination of final test and supervision of outside vendors
- Liaise with other Licensed Operators and for Interconnect and network issues e.g. Service quality, fault handling and O & M procedures
POWER ENGINEER
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Electrical Operation & Maintenance activity
- Organize for effective working of DC power operations and maintenance including DG, battery banks, A/C
- Directs troubleshooting and repair of network deficiencies. Resolves outages and ensures customer trouble tickets are addressed in a timely manner
- If required, visiting sites and taking care of all operational and maintenance activities
- Shall be coordinating with OM sub contractors
- Complaints resolution within accepted duration
- Uses test requirements to analyze problems
- Required to manage an inventory of requisite spares
- Shall be coordinating with O&M sub contractors
- Maintains & improves current standards of knowledge in related job discipline
