WWF-Indonesia is an independent member of WWF, the global conservation organization, that operating close to 100 countries worldwide. WWF-Indonesia is registered under the Indonesia law and operates with 23 offices in 14 provinces, with the vision to conserve Indonesia’s biodiversity for the well being of present and future generations. World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the global conservation organization, seeks a qualified person for the position of Partnership Coordinator for the Coral Triangle Support Partnership (CTSP) project funded by USAID to be based in Jakarta.

Partnership Coordinator

This position will work under the management guidance of the CTSP Team Leader. The Partnership Coordinator will support the Team Leader in providing a range of administrative and coordination support to NGO, government and private sector partners across the CTI countries including Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Timor Leste, Malaysia and Philippines. The successful candidate will provide support for coordination of reporting and information management, and work with the other members of the CTSP Coordination Team in reporting to USAID which funds this project. The successful candidate will have experience or demonstrable knowledge of how to work within donor-funded projects, especially USAID and multi-lateral institutions.

Basic requirements include an undergraduate degree or equivalent, demonstrated experience in coordinating partners in large complex projects, and at least 5 years relevant experience in environment and development fields. Minimum 7 years of regional experience and familiarity with US government entities, particularly USAID and NOAA, is desired. The successful candidate will be completely fluent in English and at least one other language used in one of the Coral Triangle countries.

Communications Officer

This position will work under the technical and management guidance of the CTSP Team Leader. The Communications Officer will provide technical and strategic leadership to the CTSP by establishing and maintaining a strong communication coordination program for the 6 Coral Triangle countries including Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Timor Leste, Malaysia and Philippines. The successful candidate will establish links with the three NGO main implementing partners of CTSP (WWF, TNC and CI) as well as government partners and other NGOS and practice networks in the region. The communications officer will ensure that national and regional communication programs use good practices in their respective programs, including social marketing approaches for specific audiences across the Coral Triangle and reporting on the success of these initiatives. The communications officer will consolidate reporting for the CTSP to USAID and provide key information to the Team Leader related to the overall communication strategy and needed actions.

Basic requirements include an advanced degree in planning, environment, natural or social science plus 10 years relevant experience in environment and/or development fields with particular experience coordinating multiple implementation offices within the same project across national provinces/districts and the region. Minimum of 7 years of experience working in donor projects required plus familiarity with USAID projects and multi-lateral donors. Complete fluency in English and at least one other Coral Triangle language required.
