PT Indonesia Asahan Alumunium (Persero) - PT INALUM (Persero) or referred to as "INALUM" is a reputable state-owned company in Indonesia, based in Asahan North Sumatera and running business in aluminum smelter and power plant business. INALUM is a non listed state-owned company and completely owned by the government. INALUM was originally established in 1976 as a Joint venture company between the Government of Indonesia and Nippon Asahan Aluminium Co., Ltd (NAA). NAA is Japanese consortium of 12 Japanese investors, including Sumitomo Chemical Co. Ltd. and Mitsubishi Corporation. In April 2014, INALUM officially become the government-owned corporation (BUMN) based on the Government Regulations No 26 of 2014. INALUM now has aluminum smelter plant in Kuala Tanjung, Sei Suka District, Batu Bara Regency North Sumatera. While its power plants is located at Paritohan, Toba Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province. INALUM also supported by 2 liason offices at Medan and Jakarta. INALUM also operates as a holding company for state-owned mining company in Indonesia. INALUM has 4 holding members; PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, PT Timah Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, and PT Freeport Indonesia.

In term of financial performance, INALUM Indonesia generally recorded a good performance in 2017. According to information found in PT Indonesia Asahan Alumunium (Persero) Annual Report 2017 as cited by JobsCDC.com, INALUM registered total net sales of USD436.54 million in 2017 or increase as compared with net sales of USD433.68 million posted in 2016. Total profit for the year 2017 amounted to USD110.13 million. This number reflected an 65.76% increase as compared with USD66.44 million in 2016.

Requirements

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Skilled in operating Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and problem solving abilities.
• Able to learn and apply new concept quickly.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Able to work immediately or with a short notice.
