Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Dr Soetomo Surabaya - RSUD Dr Soetomo is a leading government-owned general in Indonesia  which has attained ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certification. RSUD Dr Soetomo is located in Surabaya, the capital city of East Java Province. The Hospital is owned and managed by the Government of East Java Province. The Hospital was firsts established in 1938 as RS Central Buggerlijk Ziekenhuis (CBZ), a hospital founded by the Dutch government. After several changes of its name and status, the name of RS Dr Soetomo officially launched in 1964 based on Decree of the Minister of Health No  26769/KAB/76, the Hospital changed its name into RS Dr Soetomo.
