Kota Probolinggo - Probolinggo or the City of Probolinggo is a city in East Java, situated in the north coast of East Java. The City is bordered to Madura Strait in the north, and Probolinggo Regency in South, West and East. The City of Probolinggo has an area of 56.667 km² and administratively divided into 5 districs and 29 urban villages, namely Mayangan District with 5 urban villages, Kademangan District with 6 urban villages, Wonoasih with 6 urban villages, Kedepok with 6 urban villages, and Kanigaran District with 6 urban villages. According to the latest data from the Population and Civil Registration Office of Probolinggo City (Dispendukcapil), the population of the city of Probolinggo in August 2013 was 219,729 people.
