The Company is a subsidiary company of PT Perkebunan Nusantara X (Persero) or PTPN X, a leading state-owned plantation company in Indonesia. Initially operated as a sub business unit of PTPN X, which was established in 2003. PT Nusantara Utama Medika was formed as an independent company in 2013. The Company is based in Mojokerto East Java. PT Nusantara Medika Utama owned 3 hospital, namely Gatoel Hospital Mojokerto, HVA Toeloengredjo Hospital Pare Kediri, and Perkebunan Jember Hospital Jember.
