Pegadaian is recognized as one of the oldest companies in Indonesia. The history of Pegadaian goes back to 1746 when Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie (VOC or The United East India Company) established Van Leening Bank as a financial institution that provides credit with a pawn system. Established the first state-owned Pegadaian in Sukabumi West Java on 1 April 1901. After several times changes in its status, the name of PT Pegadaian (Persero) officially launched in 2012.

According to information found in PT Pegadaian (Persero) Annual Report 2018 as cited by JobsCDC.com, the financial performance of Pegadaian in 2018 showed a good improvement. Pegadaian managed to record a total asset of Rp 52.79 trillion in 2018. This reflected an 8.43% increase year-on-year (YOY). Pegadaian's total assets in 2017 amounted to Rp 48,69 trillion. Pegadaian managed to record a 10.42% growth in total net income in 2018 value of Rp 2.78 trillion as compared with Rp 2.51 trillion in 2017.

Requirements
  • Minimum S1 from all Departments.
  • Required experience in Manager / Assistant Manager level as a market research analyst or as business development.
  • Required experience in the finance/banking industry for at least 5 years.
  • Required experience in making surveys/product campaigns/market research and using statistical software for processing data that is quite complex.
  • Mastering the MS Office Program, especially Excel (advanced).
  • Have good communication skills, strong analytical thinking and focus on details.
  • Have specific expertise in marketing strategy and product branding strategy and understanding business processes/business models in non-bank financial service companies.
