Lembaga Perlindungan Saksi dan Korban - LPSK or the Witness and Victims Protection Agency of Indonesia is a non ministrial agency in Indonesia with main task to provide protection and assistance to witnesses and victims in Indonesia under Law No 13 of 2006. The Agency is under and responsible to the President of Republic Indonesia. LPSK is based in Jakarta and headquartered in Gedung Perintis Kemerdekaan (Gd. Pola) Lt 1 - Jl Proklamasi No 56 Jakarta Pusat 10320. LPSK consist of 7 members from professional figures and appointed by the President. The LPSK members for 2008 - 20013 period are Abdul Haris Semendawai, I Ktut Sudiharsa, Lies Sulistiani, Lili Pintauli Siregar, Myra Diarsi, RM. Sindhu Krishno, and Teguh Soedarsono. They will work in 5 separate divisions, namely protection; partnerships; institutional and development; assistance, compensation and restitution; and law dissemination and public relations.
