PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk - PTSB or referred to as "Semen Baturaja" is a reputable state-owned cement producers in Indonesia, based in Palembang South Sumatera. Semen Baturaja was formed in 1974 and initially owned by PT Semen Gresik and PT Semen Padang, respectively with share ownership of 45% and 55%. Later in 1991, the Government of Indonesia took over 100% of Semen Baturaja's shares. In 2013, Semen Baturaja went public and its shares are treade on the Indonesia Stock Exhcange (IDX) under reference code SMBR. As of December 2016, Semen Baturaja is 76.24% owned by the Government of Indonesia and 23.76% by public. Semen Baturaja runs its business through its 3 cement plants and has installed total production capacity of 3.85 million tons of cements per year. Semen Baturaja's cement plants are located at Palembang, Baturaja Ogan Komiring Ulu and Panjang Lampung.

In term of financial performance, Semen Baturaja registered total net sales of Rp1.52 trillion in 2016. This number is increased by 4% compare to 2015 which amounted to Rp1.46 trillion. Total operating income of Semen Baturaja in 2016 grew 2% to Rp328.42 billion from Rp323.26 billion in 2015. The Company’s net profit in 2016 amounted to Rp259.09 billion, or decreased by 27% from Rp354.18 billion in 2015.
