PT Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali - PJB is an established electricity power services company in Indonesia under PT PLN (Persero) or PLN Group, the national electricity company of Indonesia. At present, PLN Group holds 99.99% shares in PJB. Other 0.01% remaining shares in PJB was owned by YKP PLN. PJB running business in providing electricity through power generation activities, constructuon, installation, operations and maintenance (OM) of electricity power equipment. PJB is based in Surabaya East Java and now has 6 generating power plant units, 2 maintenance service units, 1 compresed natural gas (CNG) unit, 19 operations and maintenance services units. PJB also supported by 3 directly-owned subsidiaries (PT PJB Services, PT Rekadaya Elektrika, and PT PT Navigat Innovative Indonesia) and 4 affiliated companies, namely PT Bajra Daya Sentra Nusa, PT Sumber Segara Prima Daya, PT Bukit Pembangkit Innovative, PT Komipo Pembangkitan Jawa Bali.
In terms of financial performance, PJB posted positive financial performance in 2014. According to PJB's Annual Report 2014 as cited by JobsCDC.com, PJB posted total operating revenues of Rp 28,367.60 billion in 2014. This reflected an 14.80% increase from Rp 24,708.94 billion in 2013. Total net profit grew considerably to Rp 1,434.28 billion, from Rp 958.27 billion in the previous year.
