PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk - CIMB Niaga or referred to as "Bank CIMB Niaga" is a long standing Indonesian banking company. The Bank was formed on 26 September 1955 under the name of Bank Niaga. The name of Bank CIMB Niaga officially launched in 2008 as a merger results between Bank Niaga with LippoBank. The Bank is a local subsidiary company of Malaysia-based investment bank CIMB Group Holdings Berhad (CIMB Group). At present, CIMB Group is the majority shareholder in CIMB Niaga with a 97.9% sharesownership. In term of financial performance, Bank CIMB Niaga recorded a satisfiying financial result in the first half of 2015 (1H 2015, ended in 30 June 2015). According to CIMB Niaga's Analyst Presentation 1H-2015 Results (Unaudited) as cited by JobsCDC.com, tootal assets of Bank CIMB Niaga in the position of the end of 1H 2015 showed an increase of 9.1% to Rp 245.24 trillion from Rp 224.84 trillion in 1H 2014. Total customer deposit reached Rp 185.99 trillion in the end of 1H 2015. This reflected an 12.2% increased YOY from Rp 165.83 trillion at the end of 1H 2014.
