PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) - PLN or widely known as PT PLN (Persero)is the largest electricity service provider in Indonesia. As at the end of December 2014, PLN has total electricity power production of 228.56 TWh. Headquartered in Jakarta, PLN is wholly-owned by the Government of Indonesia. PLN was first established in 1945. PLN was first established as Jawatan Listrik dan Gas and operated under supervision of the Department of Public Works and Energy. In 1961, Jawatan Listrik dan Gas transformed into Badan Pimpinan Umum Perusahaan Listrik Negara (BPU-PLN). PLN's performance in 2014 improved over the previous year. According to PLN Annual Report 2014 as cited by JobsCDC.com, PLN managed to increase its net sales by 5.89%, from Rp 187.54 trillion in 2013 to Rp 198.60 trillion in 2014. Total net profit in 2014 amounted to Rp 11.7 trillion, compared with loss of Rp 26.2 trillion in 2013.

Education required

1. Master Degree (S2), majoring in
• Electro Engineering Power Lines, Electricity Power System (Code: S2/ELE).
2. Bachelor Degree (S1) or equivalent (D4), majoring in
• Electro Engineering Power Lines, Electricity Power System (Code: S1/ELE).
• Weak currents, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control (Code: S1/ALE). 
• Mechanical Engineering (Code: S1/MES).
• Informatics Engineering (Code: S1/INF).
• Finance (Code: S1/KEU).
• Accounting (Code: S1/AKT).
3. Diploma Degree (D3), majoring in 
• Electro Engineering Power Lines, Electricity Power System (Code: D3/ELE).
• Informatics Engineering (Code: D3/INF).
• Financial Management (Code : D3/KEU).
• Accounting (Code : D3/AKT).
• Marketing Management, Commerce Administration, Business Administration (D3/MAN).

General Requirements

• Unmarried status (single) and willing not to get married during the "Diklat Prajabatan" training period.
• Male is favorable.
• Age limit:
• S2 : Birth in 1986 and thereafter.
• S1/D4 : Birth in 1989 and thereafter.
• D3 : Birth in 1991 and thereafter.
• Cumulative grade point average (GPA) :
• GPA ≥ 3.00 : S2/ELE, S1/KEU, S1/AKT, S1/INF, D3/KEU, D3/AKT, D3/MAN, D3/INF.
• GPA ≥ 2.75 : S1/ELE, S1/ALE, S1/MES, D3/ELE.

Application should contains the below documents :

1. Application letter, addressed to PT PLN (Persero) c.q. Kepala Divisi Pengembangan SDM dan Talenta.
2. Curriculum Vitae (CV).
3. Copy of Birth Certificate/Akte Kelahiran (can be followed at the time of the interview).
4. Legalized copy of educational diploma or temporary degree verification statements (SKL).
5. Legalized copy of educational transcript.
6. Copy of valid Resident Identity Card (KTP).
7. Recent color photograph 3x4cm (2 sheets, please write your name in the back side of photographs).
8. For cross channel applicants (D3 which continue to D4 / S1), must attach additional documents
• Legalized copy of D3 diploma.
• Legalozed copy of D3 transcript.
