Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia Republik Indonesia - Kementerian Hukum dan HAM or commonly abbreviated as Kemenkumham is the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Republic Indonesia. The Ministry is one of the Indonesian government ministries in charge of legal affairs and human rights. The Ministry was formerly known as Departemen Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia/Depkumham or the Department of Law and Human Rights. The Name of Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia  was launched in 2009. Kemenkumham is based in Jakarta and its head office is registered at Jl HR Rasuna Said kav 6-7 Kuningan Jakarta Selatan. The Ministry has 33 regional offices spread in 33 provinces nationwide. The organizational structure of Kemenkumham comprise of Secretariat-General, Inspectorate General, 6 Directorate General, and 3 Agencies. Since 2011, Amir Shamsuddin was appointed by the President of Indonesia as the Minister of Law and Human Rights.
