Provinsi Lampung - Lampung or the Province of Lampung is a province of Indonesia, lies on the southern part of the island of Sumatera with Bandar Lampung as its capital. According to Statistics Indonesia, the province of Lampung had a population of 7,596,115 people at the 2010 census. Total area of Lampung was 34,623.80 km2 and is subdivided into 13 regencies and 2 autonomous cities, namely Bandar Lampung City, Metro City, West Lampung Regency, Tanggamus Regency, South Lampung Regency, East Lampung Regency, North Lampung Regency, Central Lampung Regency, Way Kanan Regency, Tulang Bawang Regency, Pesawaran Regency, Pringsewu Regency, Mesuji Regency, West Tulang Bawang Regency, and Pesisir Barat Regency. The Governor of Lampung is Sjachroedin ZP. He lead the Province of Lampung since June 2009.
