The United Nations Children's Fund - UNICEF is an International organization that deals with protecting the rights of children in the world. Unicef Indonesia operated as a part of Unicef and headquartered in New York, US. In Indonesia, Unicef is based Jakarta and situated in 10th Floor, Wisma Metropolitan 2, Jl. Jenderal Sudirman, Jakarta 12920. Unicef Indonesia supported by 5 Unicef field offices, located in Banda Aceh, Surabaya, Kupang, Makassar, and Jayapura. Unicef Indonesia provided technical services, advocacy, capacity building, support in policy formulation and promote the rights of the child in Indonesia. All Unicef's programmes in Indonesia are based on an agreed cooperation agreement with the Government of Indonesia. 

Unicef Indonesia is looking for a qualified individual to apply for the post of :
 

WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) Officer
Closing date : 24 February 2013

Requirements
  • Advanced University degree (Master’s degree) in one of the following disciplines: Public Health, Mechanical Engineering, Geology, Hydrology, Sanitation Engineering, or a field relevant to international WASH related development assistance. Additional training in Health Education or Communication for Development (Programme Communication) is an asset.
  • At least 3 (three) years of progressively responsible professional work experience in the UN or other international development organization, national government or the private sector in Water, Hygiene and Sanitation.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (oral and written) is required
HIV/AIDS Officer (IMIS 68392)Closing date:   3 March 2013

Requirements
  • Advanced University degree in Social Sciences, Health, Public Health, Family Health, or a field relevant to international development assistance in HIV/AIDS and Adolescent.  
  • Three (3) years of relevant work experience in the development, implementation, management, monitoring and evaluation of programmes addressing the issues of adolescent and HIV. Experience in Public Health and Reproductive Health and with UN agency is an asset.
  • Knowledge and previous working experience in Papua is an asset
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (oral and written) is required.
