British Petroleum Indonesia - BP Indonesia is one of the Indonesian biggest energy company. The Company is part subsidiary of British Petroleum Groups, the third largest global oil and gas company in the world and based in London - UK. The Company operated in Indonesia for over the past 40 years and its investment worth more than $7 billion. The Company's activities are dominated by its exploration and production business, notably the Tangguh LNG in West Papua. Tangguh LNG processing plant consists of an initial two trains capable of producing at least 7.6 million metric tons of LNG a year. BP also has downstream interests in petrochemicals (PT Amco-Mitsui Indonesia) and lubricants (Castrol). In Indonesia, the Company currently supported by more than 1,200 employees, most of whom work in and around capital of Jakarta or close to its main asset in Papua Barat.
