EKONID, the German-Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is the officially recognized agency to promote bilateral business relations between Germany and Indonesia. It succeeds the first German Chamber of Commerce, established in 1924 in Batavia. This first officially recognized chamber of commerce closed down in 1940 during the Second World War. Only in 1970 German and Indonesian businessmen could re-establish a new German-Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this time a bilateral organization, with the objective to represent the business community and to promote bilateral economic cooperation. EKONID is officially recognized by the German Federal Government, official authorities and leading organizations.

EKONID, the Indonesian - German Chamber of Commerce, is looking for:

Business Development Project Assistant

He / She will assist the Head of Business Development Department in attaining as well as executing the Chamber’s various activities and projects.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and preparation of strategic plans
  • Assist in providing oral and written reports on the concerns, progress of the project and the potential for new partnerships;
  • Seek opinions and working on grant proposals;
  • Assist in organizing business meetings and events;
  • Responsible for the administration of the program;
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders, agencies and hosts as well as coordinate customer visits;
  • Executing follow-up activities
  • Assist in preparing public relations materials such as brochures, information sheets,newsletters,and annual reports.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree (or higher) from well known university in business administration, international business, management or related field
  • Between 25-35 years old with minimum three years of related working experience
  • A broad understanding of program development
  • Excellent and demonstrated proposal writing and research skills
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate and maintain positive relationships with staffs and other stakeholders
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Strong proficiency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, knowledge of German is an advantage
  • Flexibility for travel

Accounting Staff

Requirements:
  • Female, Max. 30 years old.
  • Graduate min S1 from reputable University, majoring in Accounting
  • Having knowledge of computerized accounting system
  • Having knowledge of taxation – having brevet B certificate
  • Fluent in English, verbally and written.
  • Good analytical skill, dedicated and accurate
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Well organized and able to work in a team
  • Willing to work overtime.
  • Willing to work under pressure
  • Min 2 years experienced in similar position
  • German language is of advantage
Requirements:
